Wow this entry has been in my drafts for almost a week now....
Before Christmas I was trying to eat healthier, limit eating unhealthy foods or OVER eating. Which is very hard to do during Christmas season+Finals at the same time. You want to be a lazy slob & eat all the delicious food around you T___T I resisted! Could also be due to the fact I was sick most of December...so my appetite went down the drain. It was almost a bad thing that people were telling me I was looking nice & thin...all I thought was WTF I've barely eaten one full meal a day for the past 2 weeks @____@
Now that the new year has officially begun (a month ago XD) I'm still trying to be healthier, which includes exercise as well! So far for the past 3 days I've managed to do some type of workout. I'm curbing my snacking habit with LOADS of vegetables. I'm not necessarily cutting all fatty foods, I love to eat, I always will, I just need to eat healthier more often. My boyfriend has been pretty supportive, it makes it hard that he eats whatever (fricken high metabolism -___-). For instance, I've developed this obsession with pop, more specifically Coca Cola. Before it didn't really bother me not to drink pop, but due to series of events lol, I want to have a pop almost everyday. Pop is FULL of sugars, carbs, and excess sodium my body doesn't need. I haven't had a Coca Cola for 3 days...I caved today. I have night class once a week, and I completely forgot to pack my veggie snacks & tea. T___T Gonna have to make up for this later!

I've been playing a lot with my makeup, I've tried the "no blending" with dark colors, so it seems more blunt. Seemed "edgy" at the time XD
Even though once a week I have school 9:30am-8pm, I'm still trying my best to have my makeup looking good! I know some people may find that silly, but I feel more comfortable when I feel put together :)
Getting bored with my hair, tried a new style :) & YES that is my real hair, went to work with my headband braid & so many people kept poking at it asking if it was my hair or not -___-*

*Can you even tell I'm wearing bottom lashes? Finally caved in & bought them...but if I have mascara on the bottom falsies were shorter then my natural bottom lashes ): talk about disappointment! I did however wear them for my Sailor Mars cosplay (this past weekend), with NO mascara, & I did the "below your waterline" trick. Looked decent...not really my style for everyday makeup though :S

With my "fitspiration" I've been having, I've started to cook! I was never bad per say, I just never had any initiative to cook. The dumplings (left) were pan fried & the bruschetta (right) oven toasted <3 I truly enjoyed making my own food, its great to have homemade food to pick from in the fridge then packaged snacks!

I've had the dark brown/black hair with ombre for sooo long, I'm bored of it T____T I need change! & I'm thinking of some bangs! For reals this time! Which shade in the picture (above) should I go with? If they all look the same to you, just pick a style! I'm leaning more towards the girl in the front row, second from the left (hmm?)
Makeup inspiration! LOVE what was done with the eyeliner here, must find a time to try it out! I'm needing some waterproof eyeliner, I had gotten regular liquid liner from the Sephora brand...love the applicator, but hate that when you put on lashes & while you're adjusting the lashes (with glue on it) the eyeliner smudges T____T super annoying! /Color palette is beautiful as well~
Design inspiration! I was at HomeSense, & came across this bedspread, I fell in love with the design. Thinking of incorporating something similar into an acrylic piece I've been working on.

This is a quick entry because I really don't have anything of any substance to write about TT_TT My boyfriend left for Cambodia about a week and a half ago, and we had been messaging each other every 12 hours or so on facebook (I HAVE A BIGGER APPRECIATION FOR YOU NOW FACEBOOK ><!!), and while he had been on a brief weekend in Thailand facetiming <3....but now I haven't talked to him in like 36 hours and I'm so depressed ): soooo many things I want to tell him but I can't. It sucks because he's like my best friend too, and he's not here for me to chat about random crap that also has no substance to it :< I really can't wait for him to come back...in 2 more weeks ):
That's not the only reason I have nothing worth showing you all, I've been quite ill for the past 2 weeks ): boo! </3 Literally have not left the house almost the whole time, maybe that's why I feel so extra lonely without my boyfriend here..o_o??

Here are the roses my boyfriend got for me for our 2 year anniversary <3 We had a nice dinner on the weekend (Sunday) before our actual anniversary date (Monday), because he had to work on Monday & I had school. So we spent the day together Sunday, but he ended up surprising me with flowers on our actual anniversary date xoxo :)

To be honest, what it really was, was that I was doing my makeup, my lap top was sitting there all innocently, turned on iMovie, BAM! I had a video :3 Did you know iMovie can post straight to Youtube?! So useful! But people do say I'm easily amused, for instance it's been a week since I've seen this video & the adorableness still hasn't worn off..

Those of you who follow me, comment, or even just browse by my blog, I want to know what you think! Because you're the ones who take the time to look at my posts (at least I think so T___T), so if you could comment and let me know what you think that'd be great :) It's not a tutorial, I don't think I'd be good at a 'step by step' how to do your makeup, since I'm still experimenting. I just wanted to show other gals who are testing the waters out in gal, getting a feel if they like it or not, another gaijin gyaru. And I haven't found many who have my eye shape, if this can help one gal out I'm happy :)

I've been trying to work with my tablet, but with exams I've been on another hiatus for a month ): Hopefully (I won't get my hopes up though..) since my exams just finished 2 days ago, I can get some art time in. I started working on a character of mine that I've on & off worked on, never on tablet before). It's just an outline sketch, I'm currently in the midst of colouring it in, what a task that is! Don't underestimate digital artists! It's just as intricate as your traditional painting~
I attended another comic convention! I cosplayed again but as Sailor Mars :) I really want to cosplay as Sailor Moon, she is ultimately my hero, but after cosplaying as Hatsune Miku, I needed a break from the heavy pig tail wigs! I love all the senshi, so it was difficult for to pick one~ I saw a Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus and Sailor Moon at the Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo (the very first!); so it was a good thing I went as Mars :) I only got a picture with Venus ): I still have to figure out how to get the photos off my camera, because my lap top doesn't have a spot for the memory card </3 Here's a photo that got taken by one of the businesses who had a booth at the expo:

I'm very iffy about whether or not I wanted to cosplay as one of them, I love em' vampires so it's hard not to want to at sometime to cosplay as someone from VK, I do really like the manga! I just don't want to cosplay as Yuki Cross since she's very over represented, time to give some other characters a little love :P
All these characters are veeeery different, and the anime/manga are very different as well. Let me know what you think!
If you follow me on instagram you would have seen my new pictures up of my red ombre-esque hair :) I have to say I'm super happy with it & that it really goes well with the fall season :)
My new hair! I moved the part of my hair too, I told my hair dresser the predicament I was in concerning whether or not I should get bangs, & she told me never do anything with your hair if you're not sure. In the practical sense, having my hair longer (bangs area) is easier for me to tie it up, with my busy lifestyle.
Love my new cross earrings? ALDO! I went into Aldo & went on an accessories spree, there's lots of crosses, stud embellishments--right up my alley!
IRL my hair to me seems more red, so I butchered the contrast on this photo just so it would show up ._. Along with adding the red ombre, I dyed the rest of my hair a chocolate cherry, the overall look of my hair then has a red tint <3 love it!
Make up shot after being awake for over 36 hours (I had stayed up to study for midterm exam, then I had to work the same day of the exam -_-)...reason for the crazy cross eyed look haha. best part was that my cross eyed look is only one eye since my one contact didn't move XD Despite looking like the the walking dead, LOVED my makeup. I contoured, had contacts, falsies looked great, my face was the only thing I had going for me >3<

Exciting news! I'm purchasing my very first interactive tablet :) I've been researching what seems like forever, & I have settled on purchasing the Intuos5 Medium <3 I am very excited!
Can't wait to use this bad boy! I think the medium size will suit me very well, more portable, and similar sizing to my lap top anyways :)
I recently watched a video on deviantART that was filmed at the San Diego Comicon, where very successful artists were talking about how dA was a great outlet for them & how they went from traditional art to digital. Felt very inspired again! I really wanted to dip to feet into the digital art world, I have never used any products for art on the computer, and I have a feeling it will be a challenge.
Anyone who uses a tablet (intuos or not), how long did it take for you to get used to drawing on something where the image wasn't right there (compared to traditional sketching)?
I'm curious to know some personal feedback on what you think!
